I don't know any physicians who like their electronic medical records (EMR) system.

They really generally suck and IMO end up being a distraction from talking and listening to the patient. I try to keep mine to the side whenever possible.

I don't have wide experience, but the two doctors I've visited recently have an assistant run the electronics.

I thought sitting on bicycles looking forlorn was the ticket.

And what's the appeal of a food movie?

Can't say I've watched one.

I would love to have someone like that, but we don't have the funds/resources to do this. The assistants are called "scribes" and put all the info into the computer for the physician.

Honestly, I sometimes feel like these computer systems have changed me from a physician to a data entry clerk.

I saw that when it came out (25 years ago?) and still remember it.

I can't really remember any of the titles of the food movies that I watched but one was about a food truck and another was about an Indian restaurant.

f4rrest 04-14-17 07:10 AM

What ever happened with whyfi's bent rotor?

Chef, maybe, with Jon Favreau? Fun movie.

The other one could have been the aforementioned 100 Steps movie, which I also enjoyed.

Still bent, but I did buy and take the truing tool out of the packaging. That's gotta count for something, yea?

Eat Drink Man Woman (1994). Cool food movie.

Happy Easter everyone!

I liked that one.

One not mentioned, and one which ticks a number of boxes (food, comedy, travel/road trip), is The Trip, with Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon.

Me too, but I don't remember any of the dialog.

It's on Netflix at the moment. I'll catch it this weekend.

That one line was quite memorable, I don't know if I recall any other lines.

Following that logic, the adult film industry would be non-existent.
