Hormone therapy. I no longer have a prostate and have already had radiation and can't have anymore. Prostate cancer likes testosterone so the hormones will squelch that. Treatments will hopefully slow* the cancer for 10 years or so.
Doc said I won't start treatments again until I absolutely have to. Could be a year, could be 3-4 years yet. It depends upon growth velocity. My cancer is of the aggressive type and I've had velocity or fast growth in the past.

Ha, we've taken to using that word in our house, too - Paul Hollywood uses it on British Bake-off. I'm sure the boy will use it in proper context at school some time and we'll get a call from the Vice Principal anyway.

Zohmygoodness - after all the UWA talk yesterday, B&H sends me an email announcing the unveiling of two new Sony FF UWA zooms, a 12-24 f/4 and a 16-35 f/2.8.
If they have some of that Zeiss-y goodness, it might be worth eating PB&Js and ramen for a while.

Took your advice before reading it. Kashi Autumn Wheat cereal, Craisins, and skim milk. Decaf cafe au lait made with more skim milk. I really wanted biscuits and jam.

Please explain. You are a Canon guy, right? What is all the drooling over Sony and Zeiss about? Is there some interchangeability I don't know about? What am I missing?

The sun came up this morning and politics aside, the world seems ok. I'm going to live a long time, I'm sure, and my wife is in good spirits this morning. She is complaining of the right side of her torso aching but not hurting so bad that she can't handle it. I said, "Damn, Woman, you had your liver pierced! You can complain a little if you want!.

I've been shooting with Zeiss glass (almost) exclusively for a few years (I sold my last Canon lens, the TS-E 90, a little while back). I've been looking forward to moving over to a Sony a7 variant for a year or so, the FF mirrorless platform would be great for my existing glass, but bike crap was the go-to this time around. If a native mount, AF lens can give me the look that I like from my older MF lenses, I'd eventually bite the bullet and spring for it, I think.
