Southern California is a paradise. It's not for no reason that it is overrun with people.

NSFW-ish. I've actually seen that guy walking around the beach in his outfit of choice. Didn't realize he had a pink bike and enjoys motorpacing city buses on busy highways without a helmet. Lots of good choices being made. That aero form is on point.

Nice glutes.

Last night I ordered The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel on Amazon Video. Not a bad movie (especially for some of you old fogeys).
However, now my newest recommendations list, cleverly named by Amazon "For a Night In," is, no lie:
Queen of Spades: the Dark Rite
11th Hour
Hollow Creek
Murdered Memory
Maggie
A Cry from Within: a Tormented Soul Never Dies
The Nest
Ouija Summoning
The Vatican Tapes
Little Accidents
Home
Nowhere Safe
Bipolar
Bad Ben

Wait a minute...does the Amazon algorithm programmer have a sense of humor, and/or have I just been insulted?"

Ride Report

I ventured out into the boonies. It's kind of hairy out there. I saw horse dung on the road.

The End.

You didn't drink from your bidon afterwards, did you?

We had wind today, but I was a bit sheltered up on Flagstaff. Intervals suck, but they're more doable on a nice little climb.

I was following LAJ on Strava, but do not see this ride in my feed. Perhaps I've been blocked?

I did not consume any food or drink during said ride. #HTFU

2.5 horas sin aqua sounds awful!

I don't think people can be blocked on Strava, but I don't know that for sure. Just not a lot to see. I see intervals and a lot of work, others see 19 miles.

Clearly a serious cyclist.

I had a big drink beforehand and did not work up a sweat (70-75F).

Feed fail. And it says 29 miles. You need a refund from Strava.

Very nice. Way better than the one I took from the same spot. Almost as important, did you get a pic of the steps the priest fell down in the Exorcist?

It was a particularly nice one. I'm inspired by valygrl's trip to Mallorca that I've been making noises about going to Spain. I'm getting pushback from Mr H, who prefers to spend more time sailing. :)

No you can for sure block people on Strava. I've done it. :)

Some friends of ours sailed to Mexico. :)

And then through the Panama Canal to the Caribbean. :) :)

We had visions of them crossing the Atlantic.

Nope. They came back through the Panama Canal and are currently en route to the South Pacific. :) :) :)

My legs hate me. going hiking up a mountain once every two months hurts. It was a good day otherwise.

Nice vacation pics everyone.
