The Foil has bigger granny gearing so that almost forces you to be a bit faster. But I felt good yesterday. Dying for the last couple of minutes, but you'd expect that.

Foil? The Scott and S2 are no more?

Dunno. They (Smartwool, specifically) like to get cutesy sometimes, like spinning wool around a synthetic core. I'm sure that you could look through the specs on their website and get a good idea of why the care differs. As far as my shirt... it's certainly shrunk, but still wearable - just a little more form-fitting. Hell, if I keep slowly dropping weight, I might have to resize more of my shirts. :innocent:

Assuming Mrs. WhyFi is smaller than you, as is the case with most (not all) wives, could there have been an ulterior motive. :innocent:

Jus' sayin'.

Ha. It'd need to go in the dryer by "accident" another dozen times - she's about 80lbs lighter than me.

Oh well, at least the rotor is now unbent - that was easy. I wonder what level of true I should chase, though... overall, there's probably 0.5mm of space between the rotor and pads, and I can juuuuust see the sliver of light between them squeeze a little tighter at one point.

Right tool for the job and all that stuff.

I have the digital caliper attachments for my Park Truing Stand, but have never used them. Stupid expenditure. They are just gathering dust. I wonder if one of them could be set up on the stand in a way to measure runout of the discs. They are intended for use at the brake track. I haven't looked to see if they could be moved down toward the hub.

I would say 50:50 with the laptop which is set up like a desktop. As for my Kindle Fire pad, I just use it for reading. Maybe also when traveling light instead of taking the laptop. It is very capable, but I don't like typing on it. It is too small for regular typing and too big for thumb typing.

So to be clear, that's 50:50 laptop/kindle?

In way too many BF posts, I have never used my phone.

LAJ 04-15-17 08:08 AM

On my phone as we speak. Course I'm at the Air Force Academy waiting for just the right time to hit the trainer. Sun is out and that makes me happy.

I was walking to the bank and a red Corvette like yours was waiting for pedestrians to turn. One of them cursed out the car, saying something like what kind of ****ing ahole drives a car like this. I'm not sure if he was referring to the car in general, or the CU student driving it, but I thought of pcad. Super flashy ride in red.

Fail. This is hot. Z-51. Vented Brembo discs and calipers included. 0-60 stopping distance (90 feet). That's about as good as cars (at any price), better than a lot of supercars from Ferrari, etc., I think it's the shortest distance Motor Trend has ever tested on a street car. A new Honda Accord needs about 115 feet.

No, laptop-phone. I don't like typing on the Kindle. It is both too big and too small.

Sold the S2, I ride the Addict all the time. Foil has bigger gearing, they're both Scott bicycles.
