Am I late? Traffic on the stairs today to get to my phone was horrible. I'll make up for it leaving early like I used to do at work.

Thanks Heathpack I agree.

In a devout Catholic culture, Easter is the biggest holiday of the year. Here, however, Day of the Dead is right up there too. And a few others. Dia de Guadalupe, which many of us have never heard of. A week of peregrinos (I can't think of the English word) on bicycles and on foot, traveling long distances for pennance.

I used to say that my boss never let work get in the way of his golfing.

Btw, my neighbor always said that it must be nice to have a government job where you were at off at 4:30 and home by 4. I just stuck my tongue out at him.

Oh wow that got organized quickly.

Poor Jones off the bike. Nothing to do now but lie around and build muscle.

Interesting. Is the phone your main internet device?

I wonder how many here use their cell as their main internet device.

Personally I'm 50% desktop computer and 50% iPad. Very, very rarely do I use the cell.

The same. I do a little surfing on my phone at stops during a ride but that's about it.

I think that it depends on the blend, but all of my wool shirts (7-9 of them) are of the "dry flat" variety.

Woke up especially hungry this morning. Costco okara burger with melted jack cheese, half an avocado, and two thick slices of home baked bread. I may have to go for a ride after. Or maybe I'll just lay around and build muscle.

I would say 50:50 with the laptop which is set up like a desktop. As for my Kindle Fire pad, I just use it for reading. Maybe also when traveling light instead of taking the laptop. It is very capable, but I don't like typing on it. It is too small for regular typing and too big for thumb typing.

*shudder* Perish the thought.

I was wondering about that. Is it about a fabric blend or about chemical treatments of the wool.

Fail. This is hot. Z-51. Vented Brembo discs and calipers included. 0-60 stopping distance (90 feet). That's about as good as cars (at any price), better than a lot of supercars from Ferrari, etc., I think it's the shortest distance Motor Trend has ever tested on a street car. A new Honda Accord needs about 115 feet.

I made a wrong turn coming out of the bathroom in the night and, tripping over the dog water, ran face first into a stone wall. It's got me to thinking that our nose might be the morphological equivalent of our finger, and toe nails.

Has indyfabz left on his tour yet? Just curious.

Rain, rain this morning. :(

Oh well, at least the rotor is now unbent - that was easy. I wonder what level of true I should chase, though... overall, there's probably 0.5mm of space between the rotor and pads, and I can juuuuust see the sliver of light between them squeeze a little tighter at one point.

My 9:35 fatso benchmark on the Mt. Doom Eff Strava segment was shattered yesterday as I wheezed and puffed my way to a 7:55 on the Foil. The Foil has bigger granny gearing so that almost forces you to be a bit faster. But I felt good yesterday. Dying for the last couple of minutes, but you'd expect that.

Dunno. They (Smartwool, specifically) like to get cutesy sometimes, like spinning wool around a synthetic core. I'm sure that you could look through the specs on their website and get a good idea of why the care differs. As far as my shirt... it's certainly shrunk, but still wearable - just a little more form-fitting. Hell, if I keep slowly dropping weight, I might have to resize more of my shirts. :innocent:
