With or without alcohol?

Water and a dry crust of bread.

Nice bell.

Well, Siegfried is looking at me funny. Better take him out for his Paschal lamb. Later, all.

You have done everything you can already. What happens next is what happens next. This stuff truly is not to be resisted or fretted over, it's the fabric of life. Now you just wait for the outcome. The zen comes from recognizing that it's the flow of life that's important and the qualitative aspects of what you do in life & how you go about doing it. The details that seem so important now in the end will be unimportant.

Steel my be heavy and not particularly stiff or aero or whatever... but maybe there is something to it being real.

Sweet. Three hours to whomp on the pedals. After a rest day, no less.

Gathered up my very fast actually-tries-to-win-her-Ironmen-tri friend and we met up at 4:15 this morning. The idea was we'd go ride a local canyon outside of town and then fly back to meet the Friday coffee ride, I thought we might be 5 min late to that start. But they often start a few minutes late, I was thinking we might only be two minutes behind and we should be able to chase them down easily, that ride is not exactly a hammerfest.

My friend (who is never late) was 5 min late so we stepped lively on our canyon ride. Then hit huge wind when we got back into town and lost all the time we'd gained by hauling ass through the canyon. Got to the ride start 10 min late and spent the rest of our ride trying to chase the group down.

Wow we were in shock we couldn't catch them and 2:30 or so into our ride, I thought to check for a text. Whoops they cancelled the ride on account of the wind.

My friend had to peel off to get home for work, but I texted another friend to meet me for coffee, so all the essential elements of a coffee ride were met in the end.

Great ride for me. New best 5 min power, all kinds of PRs and 3 hours of riding at 0.88 IF. All by 7:15 am. :)

:)

Thanks guys. :thumb:

To compound it somewhat, a friend also interviewed on the same day and isn't responding to my question about whether he got a call. I guess I'll just have to be patient! Nothing I can do at this point.

It was obviously your answering machine message. Probably too much super group music in the background.

Why else would they not leave a message?

Better go change it before they call again...

Me too.

Not the Google part though.

You blacked out? What happened? Something serious?
