Ugh, man... the salesman that we're dealing with on the solar panel project is an idiot. We had an engineering visit a couple of weeks ago, and we've been awaiting the results to know if we can fit additional panels, whether our electrical box is adequate or if it'll need to be replaced, etc. You know - all the due diligence you'd expect in order to nail down a system configuration and approximate cost. We were supposed to have that info more than a week ago.

Meanwhile, the salesman emailed me on Monday trying to close us on the original, back-of-the-bar-napkin proposal and didn't even know that the engineering visit had happened until I informed him that it had. We left it at "I'll check on all of that for you," on Monday. Today, after hearing from absolutely no one since the last exchange, I get an email starting with, "So I understand that you're ready to move forward with the proposal..." :twitchy:

And if you act right now, we'll give you another whole set! You just have to pay the separate "handling" fees!
