Oh yeah, it's gorgeous here today 65ºF+, not a cloud in the sky, light winds. Nothing threatening on the 10 day forecast outside of a little rain here and there. Tuesday's high temp is supposed to push 80ºF. Spring is here kiddies.

Pcad is no slave to Strava.

If you were on Strava I would give you a kudos. But since we are unable to verify the authenticity of your claim, no kudos.

It's a shame that we have to grow older. I see my PRs on Strava from just 5 years ago and I go "NO WAY!"

Of course.

Got the turbo stoker out for a tandem ride, 70º with a South wind 19-35 mph. Did a short mostly crosswind ride and basically had a 3-way headwind. Stoker was ecstatic to be on two wheels again even with the low miles (18.6) and low average (14.6). She did say that more puppy strapping was going to be called for on the next ride. ;)

My wife and I didn't get into the pic because she is embarrassed at how much we gained over the winter. :D

Ignore the people photo-bombing my pic:

Glad I didn't mention it. But since you did, let me say there was an editorial in the NY Times this AM about the loss of the word "who". Seems it is becoming almost universal to substitute "that" as in "All the people THAT came to the party..."

What can I say? How about: "Another one down. Another one down. Another one bites the dust". Thank you Queen.

You need a better t-shirt tailor. There is an old saying dating back to when nearly all men wore suits every day. "You don't need to lose weight. You just need a good tailor."

I agree. My wife and I have talked about this before. We've run in to cycling guys away from our rides that were wearing suits and we both have mentioned how nice/better they looked in a suit.

When in doubt, heed the advise of the 41.

So devastating. How can he possibly go on? :(

Heathpack 04-09-17 02:49 PM

Totally enjoyed my ride this am, it was around 28 miles with 4000 ft of climbing. Coach said to give him 3-4 hard efforts, 15-20 min each. Haha I compromised and gave him 4 hard efforts, 10-12 min each. ;)

I even got a QOM. Sweet.

If you don't exercise, you loose fitness. Discuss.

Nothing, it just makes her feel important when I call her that.

In the case of children, though, it really does feel like a turbo back there. Kids seem to float the pedals a lot until you ask them to throw some power to the pedals like on a short climb or on an acceleration. Those munchkin stokers don't have much endurance but they can put out some instantaneous watts for you. :D

You need to pay more attention to the 41 spelling tradition.
