The only parasites that I just cannot handle are maggots. Seriously, I've got a pretty strong stomach and have seen some gross stuff, but there are two choices with maggots- walk away or throw up. Well, those and cuterebra (but y'all have to google that, I'm not posting pics). Anything else, no problem.

Maggots are USEFUL in human medicine to debride necrotic (dying tissue) wounds. Apparently they will eat dead or nonviable tissue but leave alone living/viable tissue.

Google "medical maggots" for details. Way cool IMO.

Another interesting parasite is the guinea worm. You have to "wind" it out daily (gentle traction) to get it out. The joke our professor in med school made is that each morning you wind your clock, and you wind your worm.

Yeah, me too. I grew up in FL with roaches everywhere. If I feel two leg hairs rub against each other I jump out of my skin assuming some insect is crawling on me.

Put tapeworms in that category for me, too.

Do you take Vitamin D?

Put bugs in that category for me. I can handle spiders, because in the grand scheme, they eat more bugs than humans. There's a reason I don't live in the south, even though I could have had my choice of a few Cup teams. Big bugs and humidity. Nope.

That's alright, I'll take your word for it.

Anything I'd buy or afford off the shelf would be that 23-25. I think my alloy Synapse right now is ~22 or 23. Gonna go down before I go uppp.

Right on. Steel can be as real as it wants, I'm going to grab a weenie for the next one.
