If something happens to him, will anyone know? Or will someone come across his body in four months?

In 4 months it will be winter up there, in which case they won't find him till the spring thaw in June.

Apparently they will eat dead or nonviable tissue but leave alone living/viable tissue.

Agreed. Also useful in Vet Med. But as the person that would be the one to have to deal with them on a daily basis, ain't gonna happen. Family has already been informed that if this ever has to be used on me, they better use the mielenstein equivalent of sedatives.

Google "medical maggots" for details. Way cool IMO.

No. And yes theoretically, but still nope.

Nope, nope, nope.

On an unrelated topic, I went to Yellowstone in June many moons ago. And it snowed. Is it ever really summer there?

They are really hard to photograph together. One or the other of them is usually whirling like a dervish.

Last day in España for us. We had a fantastic time. I really enjoyed the Dalí museum and could have spent the whole day there, but the young'uns were finished after a couple hours. I will try to post a few pics later.

We have a tiny dog in the house temporarily.

He's passive aggressively urinating from within the kennel, hitting the surrounding floor/wall.

Our black lab has been going bonkers in his kennel, which sets off the visitor as well.

They're situated so they can't see each other, so eventually they quiet down and forget another dog is nearby... until one of them moves.

Then it all starts again.

Mrs f is cured from wanting another dog.

We are waiting for our taxi in Girona. Today is travel day. We will take a short cab ride to the train station, a 90 minute train to Barcelona City, then switch trains for a short ride to the Airport. If all goes well, I will be in my own bed by midnight.

In the meantime, here are some pictures from the past 2 days. Dalí Museum, pictures don't do it justice, and Girona.

We are now overloaded with homegrown bananas; a flaw with this variety, unless there are crowds of people around. They are the best of the best, flavorwise, though, which makes it even harder to waste them.

And we're down to our last over-ripe banana that has a weird lengthwise split.

I'm guessing someone got careless with the machete.
