Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Strava problem...need help

So, I went on a ride today. After I uploaded my results I clicked on a segment. Then I clicked on "my results"...I think that's what it's called. Anyway, I then got a list of every time I have done that segment. Here's the problem: I can't get out of it. I want to get back to all results. I've gone through this over and over but can't figure it out. How do I get back to the general list.

Should just be a drop down that allows you to switch it back to "All Time". At least that is where it is on my screen.

Exactly what I did but I keep getting my "all time" and not everyone. Don't know why.

Is this a segment that you created, or that someone else created?

If it is a "private" segment, then you will only see your own results.

Ahhh,
Found the dropdown menu. "My Results" or "All Time".

I often like to click on "View Full Leaderboard" (usually opening it in a new window). It gives a good chart of one's personal results and everyone else's results.

I always view the full leader board. But, this time I decided to click on my results. And, I got them for every time I've ridden that segment. But, now I can't get back to the full leader board. I've tried everything including going off the site and coming back. All the other segments work as usual. But, the one that I went to to get all my results will not go back the full leader board. FWIW this is not a segment I created and I've been viewing it for two years with everyone on it.

When I go to the segment I get a list of all the times I've ridden it. When I click on the box on the right it is entitled "my results" and I can't get out of it. If I go there and click on "all time" I only get MY all time rides.

Ok, I think I figured it out.

Go to Dashboard
https://www.strava.com/dashboard

Select the ride you are interested in.

Click on the segment you're interested in (within the ride).

On the right, a summary of the times should show up.
There is a drop-down "All Time", "This Year", "My Results", etc.

Select "All Time"

Now click on "View Full Leaderboard" (or right click and open in a new tab/window).

Go to Dashboard and then go back into that segment.

I've done both those things and I can't get out of the endless loop of my rides.

This is what I have been doing. When I go to the segment the right side shows MY all time list. It does not show anyone else. If I click on "all time", it shows MY all time best. I can't get it back to everyone's all time.

Really odd.

Have you starred the segment? No padlock next to it under "Starred Segments" or "Created Segments"?

I barely use Strava, but when I do I usually look at "my results". I then get back to the page that lets me see everyone else by using the back button on my tablet until I'm where I want to be. Hope that helps.

Just went back to Strava and everything is back to normal. I went off and on the site several times yesterday in homes that it would "re-set" and it didn't. Why it works today I have no idea. But, thank you for all the suggestions.
