It's the easy lazy option rather than getting more server hamsters.

I really like the way the T6 T-shirt fits, so I've been looking through their designs. I really want the Jesus riding a bike design, but my wife isn't too hot on it -

T6 does offer Mystery T sale option for $10, wherein they send you a t-shirt of their choice... if I should just happen to get the Eggplant Jesus T from a Mystery T purchase, that wouldn't be my fault, would it?![Innocent](https://www.bikeforums.net/images/smilies/innocent.gif)

Awesome.
Some fire road, some beautiful flowy single track. Gorgeous day, in the 70s. Great company. Beautiful scenery.
There's also a big pro mountain bike race going on, so we got to see some of that.
I'm starting to really enjoy this mountain biking business.

Adventure Cycling Association has a new route from Chicago to NYC that crosses PA two ways. I did a good chunk of the main route across PA during my Warren, OH to Philly tour back in 2014. Nice route.

Fat bikes have no suspension. The big fat tires act as suspension on those bikes.
<I think. I'm no expert on mountain bike types.>

Nope they are both full suspension mountain bikes. Mine, on the left, has normal mountain bike tires. My friend's bike, on the right, has wider tires that are called "plus" tires. They are bigger than regular mountain bike tires, they increase the effective size of the wheel.

It's goes something like this:
Plus size is > 2.6", < 3.5
3.5 and up would be fat territory.
Gotta love a full suspension fatty!

We just did a beer run on the tandem. I still haven't done my metric century for this month. Running out of days...

Did my annual 30 mile benchmark ride.
Good news: I beat last years time by 54 seconds.
Bad news:I am Still 1 minute 40 seconds behind my best time from 7 years ago.
Factoids:
Only averaged about 93% of my max heart rate. (Don't have A power meter) maybe if I did it at 95% I could have gotten closer. I don't think I would have gained 3+ seconds per mile if i did.
Have to wait until next year for another try since the ride is back near my hometown.
I am worried that next year at age 55 i won't have a chance to match the 47 year old me.
My worries won't stop me from Trying.
