So if I get one of their bikes my life will be perfect? That's what I get from the photos.

For the record, here's the video generated from my ride last weekend.

Pretty nifty. Might actually be interesting if I had something resembling a real climb.

Yess this is what I was kinda *****ing about the other day. I said they needed something that would merge Strava, allow you to post a ride video up and also do some kind of route share and route review. This would allow people to see the actual ride, judge traffic conditions and or share some great locations to ride that might be less congested or more scenic.
Good deal.

I just use SmartWool t-shirts, on and off the bike. Sierra Trading Post is the best place to find them cheap (~$30). You can set up alerts, too. If you have a local STP, it'd be a good idea to go in and try out the sizing on a couple different brands (I know that I'm a Large in Smartwool, and XL in Icebreaker, for instance) so that you can just order them from the site whenever you get an inventory alert.

It's going to take several boat anchors to get @datlas north of 150.
I would love to get in that area, but I'm already getting the "You can't live on beet powder and supplements" talk....

I forgot to mention about my ride last night. I had both new, wider rims on and the difference in plushness was pretty huge. I knew that it was supposed to be better, but I didn't think it would be that huge of a difference. Interested to see how it feels on the next gravel ride.

Yep, looks right to me. I was promoted in 1997 and was working long hours and couldn’t ride. I had a prostatectomy in 2003 and decided that I was going to work less and ride more. Retired in 2005.

I think @datlas should try fattening up for the holidays. Put on 10 pounds!

If I had a phat bike, I’d ride the heck out of it for a month or two, get tired of it and end up storing it next to my disco clothes and my line dancing boots.
In my case, it would be called a phad bike.

They had 50% off on one or two items each day last week for black friday. They have a bunch of other stuff at 30% off, but no base layers.
I know it would be worth it to spend the money on the Rapha stuff, but I see how quickly my other wool base layer fell apart and I get nervous about throwing around that kind of money after buying new bib shorts and all that money spent on the wheels.

I've been looking at an $80 skin suit on Amazon (with sleeves). Tempted to buy that before spring. I also really need to look into replacing most of my bibs, but they'll probably end up going another season.

They're going to be publishing newsletters soon, which should help some folks find interesting stuff around the forums.

Got a brief night ride in yesterday evening. The sun set at maybe 5:30-ish, so well before I was even home. I brought my battery powered light as backup just in case something went wrong with the dynamo light, though I don't know what could have gone wrong as it's a dea simple setup and I had already tested it inside.
Either way, the light was fantastic. It wasn't devastatingly bright or anything like that, but the beam pattern and coverage was just so good. Miles above all my battery powered lights. I rode once with a rented light that had an external battery pack. It was really bright, but I kept worrying about the batteries on that one as well. Now I just need to mount up the rear light for true grab-and-go riding.

My sister makes a fruitcake which is wrapped in muslin and parchment, and is soaked in rum. Food of the gods. I never liked fruitcake either.
