Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

They rolled well, but the grip was not nearly as good as on the smaller maxxis tires I'm on now.

I've never ridden a maxxis tire I didn't just instantly love.

Tires are pretty person and location specific. Based on the pics you post, I think my trails are somewhere between your usual trails and the Sedona stuff. Racing Ralph are not uncommon out here, but mostly on the rear only.
Did you contact Schwalbe or the place you bought the tires from?

No, I saw how schwalbe handles those types of claims over on mtbr, and decided I didn't want hassle only to be told "lol, no".

I bought them from a shop in Germany because there was no us availability at the time.

Had a nice 75km ride today. Well technically a 39km ride followed by lunch followed by a 36km ride. Lunch was good.

Animals with animal sweaters on. Cool.

We had a hedgehog. Did not have a sweater with doglets on it.

Pre-op comment from an OR nurse:

'Wow it says here you're 60 years old. You don't LOOK like you're 60.'

Last conscious memory, I woke up in recovery later. I'll never know how she meant that now. Oh well.

The reason I've ridden so many times is because it's the safest/stress-free open road nearby. Sadly, only a couple miles long.

How do you know when doglets are cold?

It must be fun to be in the OR room. You can taunt the patients and they just fall asleep.
