I have fallen victim to one of the classic blunders. A rainy day + a paid-off credit card + a bike frame in the same room as my computer= new parts and tires will be winging their way to my house this week. Must remember to get my mail lady a Christmas gift!

Wow! I didn't know it was possible to come home this tired from an mtb ride. No can do on the passage to Komchen. I got my first out-on-the-road flat in 3 years. That extra tube I grabbed as I was going out the door did the trick. I had cleaned the mud dauber nest out of the pump, and everything was going swimmingly until I opened the tube of glue and only air came out. On the ride home I remembered seeing a bike hack video where he tied a knot in the tube in order to get back home. I wonder if I would have thought of it.

I don't think it means what you think it means.

Haha...I just found a reimbursement check from when I overpaid my car insurance. That just cut my largest purchase in half. Yay for bad accounting!

Had to ship out early. I had my trumpet there and played "Reveille" to rouse the kids. I'm not sure they appreciated it as much as I did.

Back in K-Town. 43F and light rain. Oh well.
I did see a road cyclist near Lexington. But he was on the sidewalk for some reason. Not sure if that counts.
I need Shimano.

I don't have mad skillz. I don't know how to do the multi quote function.
I don't know what it means to be tagged in this thread either.
Short afternoon nap is over.
Sorry to hear you're about your time in Iowa City. I can't imagine that being very fun this time of year.

If I had money this screaming deal would cause me to build some carbon wheels I don't need.

I already have that exact 350 hub on my MTB wheels, but my B+ set is crummy and not a good width on rims. Which is why I'm thinking about it...
