Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

When in Tennessee you should tender an extra 10% to show your appreciation to your northern neighbor.

Fat. How you are?

Picked up a smart scale the other day - it confirms that it's been a fat winter for me. I guess that the flip side of that is that it also confirms that getting under 185 would be very, very difficult, given my composition (it measures muscle, fat and bone mass, etc). Well, without dropping muscle mass, that it. Makes me feel better about progress last year and gives me something to shoot for this year.

Kinda soft. Is this all off road and mostly grass/gravel? How much pavement??

p.s reason I was asking is my event last week was roughly 50% gravel and 50% pavement. I ran my tires about 50PSI as a good balance. Felt ok on both the rough and the smooth. If it were all gravel and maybe even soft grass/mud I would have gone to 40. Tubes so not lower.

First you withhold water that rightfully belongs to the Fine citizens of Georgia, then you want us to pay an additional sales tax. Sad!

Work pc kept logging itself out due to inactivity and IT would not help me change it to a longer time period. Got the ole rock on the spacebar ripping off spaces in notepad to keep me fresh. Some people put men on mars, other people bring mars to men. Ayoooo.
