Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I hear the Fizik stuff never gets dirty somehow. And since I'd be going with a lighter color, that sounds good to me. It's 3mm vs the 3.5mm cannondale on there now. I hope that .5mm doesn't make much difference.

Do you need one roll to do the whole bar set?

Is that a good price?

::handwringing intensifies::
You need to buy it first, and then ask these questions.

Well, I got on the bike and headed across town and then out. Turned around at the next village, with abdominal cramps.

The quoted drop/reach on those is wrong. Looking at the engineering drawings the drop should be 130.2 (not 150), and reach about 108 (not 130).

I kinda want to stay with a closer reach, but damn those look comfortable to me right now. Almost the same as the ENVE SES bars.
Which model are you looking at? Every link you've posted sends me to the main Dengfu page. Like WhyFi, I would consider the integrated setup. Looks cool.

Dengfu is another one. I'm not particularly worried. The enve bars are like 10x more expensive.
It will probably never fail. Regardless, it's not worth it for me. I feel the same way about wheels and sometimes framesets.

If you choose your carbon bars wisely, you should really never have to replace them. Nice bars are a good investment for your hands, assuming you use the hand positions.

Finally the correct bait. Big load of laundry hanging out drying, and I wake up to our heaviest rain in a month or so. Laundry, generally, is very good bait. Power tools are one of the best.

One of our staff members is leaving for NC next week. We are having a dinner for him this evening. They chose "Hibachi" steak house, I have not been to one of these faux Japanese places since I was a teenager, but I will go along with the gag. I will have to ask the master chef to cook my veggies separate from the meat/seafood.

Those are still around, huh? I bet they’re used to vegetarians.

They're used to it. Anytime we have to go to one of those places, my house has a vegan and an egg allergy. It's fine.

Further drove home the point by collecting a substantial deposit. Ie it’s not really possible to fail to understand the costs of the proposed tests before we start.

Yesterday, I run tests 1, 2, 3, and 4, incurring charges that were exactly as detailed in the previously provided written cost estimate. At discharge, the cat’s owners were irate over the bill. Shouting and carrying on in the lobby. This is not uncommon in our hospital but is pretty uncommon with me personally because I’m pretty easy about suggesting plan B, C, D, etc less-expensive less-ideal alternatives if owners express financial concerns over plan A. Not a peep out of these people until after we have finished though. Then lots of loud peeping. You’d think you’d never see people like this again but frequently they show up for the recommended follow ups. Where I am nice to their face but actually despise them.

A wonderful post. There certainly does seem to be a trend everywhere at the moment that people with substantial new financial commitments only seem happy when they get stuff for nothing even after the cost been explained beforehand.

The most obvious question here is: Did the cat actually survive its treatment? The obvious answer does seem to be: Yes. So why do customers behave with such despising behaviour?

I need a new binge show for the trainer this winter. Something with a big ol' pile of seasons that'll last 80+ hours, is not so involved and complicated it falls apart if I miss a bit of dialog, but good enough to distract me and motivate me to put in the hours. Anyone have suggestions? Long ongoing plotlines are better than endless status quo for this.

Lately, I have been listening to Anthony Trollope’s Palliser series of novels from Audible and have been completely absorbed and delighted. They’re each a good 25 hours long and the reading is sublime. A nice change from the grim 20th century history I have mainly been listening to for the past year or five, but I realize my tastes are not exactly main stream.

After an ever too long hiatus from cycling. I have returned. Of course, I had to return to the forum too... it wouldn't be the same riding without comparing my stats to everyone here who doesn't know me or care... missed this place.
