Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Asymptotic Nirvana. Sounds like a geeky cover band.

It was.

And Billy is the last person to listen to. He only has one bike. You can't sell a bike, especially when you only have two. What would the other one think?

Unsolicited advice for the thread:

Watch the RBG documentary. It's available on Apple and Amazon now. I knew she was a badass, but I didn't know enough about her legal background in the 70s to really understand her. Now I have a much better idea.

Of course, my wife, as a female attorney fighting an uphill battle at all times against a strongly male-biased profession/region, was sobbing through probably 50% of the film. V inspires.

YES. Except my office has a 0 tolerance policy for strapless shirts and sandals. I wonder if I'd be allowed to ride my strapless Looks to work?

I don't go anywhere there or in places like Trollheim. Honestly, I'm not sure why there's a need for a place like Trollheim in a cycling forum.

There is also the possibility that you magnify the degree of negativity of others' posts if they do not agree with you and you read more into them than is there.

Which of course if your prerogative. But it just takes it to a level of uncomfortable prima-donna-ness for everyone else when you bring up a minor thing that occurred weeks ago and was immediately dropped by the "offending" party. I wouldn't even be posting about any of this if you hadn't called me out specifically several posts ago. So, again, you are partially in control of how responses unfold on this forum. You get openly pissy with people and they may get openly pissy right back.

Holy cow, never looked at the price, just seen em on the IG. $550 is a little rich for my blood.

The selective anodizing No.22 Bikes does looks pretty nice.

No.22 is a silly name for a bike company. They better have a wonderful backstory to overcome the poor name decision.
