Me, too. We're in the process of landscaping and as soon as that's done, the watering system comes next.

For the record, her hand is now about 90% and the docs are calling it a successful recovery. The funny thing is that her left hand grip strength is greater than her right (she's right handed) from all of the therapy and exercises. She still can't make a perfect closed fist but she's pretty close and most of the pain is gone. Now, if her back will ever recover so she can ride upright again.

Since my crash 1 month ago, I have been taking Ibuprofen 800mg 2-3x/day. That’s prescription strength. I had sudden onset pretty bad upper abdominal pain last night that is persistent. I gave myself a diagnosis of NDAID-induced gastritis and/or ulcer. Of course I stopped the Ibuprofen and started some acid blockers and am on a bland diet. Of course I still went for a ride. My wife thinks I am a fool. She may be right.

We have one in our house at the beach. About a half an acre lot, with 11 zones, two of which aren't working very well. One has a leak somewhere and the pressure isn't enough to pop the heads. The other one is a zone with drip lines that never seem to drip - I have identified which zone I think it should be - now I need to find the valve, but it is too damned hot out to mess with the thing now.

The problem with the high road is that it reinforces that there aren't any consequences for endangering others and for asshattery. If I can find his employer/company, I'll be more than happy to blow him up on social media/review sites.

Does a bear **** in the woods?
we crushed the 5 hour mark, and nearly hit under 4:30 moving time.
Someday I'd like to do under 5 hours solo, but I'm happy with this ride.
Like I said in this thread Smallest hand pump
"The group I ride with doesn’t have newbs. We are all competitive cyclists or duathletes. Our group rides aren’t casual/social rides. After the ride we might meet for a beer or coffee, but the ride itself is a serious workout."

I did a solo 5:10 100 mile TT back in 2006 on a low racer recumbent (I was 55 y.o.). This was a sanctioned UMCA event. I carried 140 oz. of diluted Gatorade and several cut up energy bars. I did have some serious cramping near the end.

Tomorrow is my first race after a recent category upgrade.
I'm split between having no expectations for myself, other than to learn, and really wanting to be on the podium and will face inevitable disappointment when I don't.

Got buzzed by some ass driving a commercial vehicle at the tail end of my ride. Caught up with him when he made his stop. His response was less than apologetic -
Had the police come out to talk with him. In front of the police officer, he referred to me as "these bike Nazis [WWII antagonists]" and said, "yeah, I passed him at 2 feet." Police officer's response was, "nope, I can't even take his name."
edit: oh, I was expecting the censor to censor. Huh. Take that, @datlas.

3 feet, 3 inches, as long as you don't hit me, please.
