Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I've experienced three out of four. I hear Intercourse is nice.

I was referring to the towns. The direct way from Blue Ball to Paradise is through Intercourse. The more leisurely route has you pass through Bird in Hand before getting to Intercourse.

I could make a sophomoric comment about how they are ribbed, for our riding pleasure....but of course I will take the high road.

“Helium may be the second most plentiful element in the universe, but it’s also one of the lightest and doesn’t form molecules easily with heavier atoms,"
Understatement of the century, there.

I had to stop myself several times from making such a comment in that thread.

Idea for a parody thread: "Are ribbed latex tubes easier to insert, and will lubing them make insertion easier and decrease rolling resistance?" Maybe with a poll.

Heading (slowly) to Wyo Sunday!!!

I might do the Rattlesnake Rally while I'm up there. Wonder if I should just ride it on the full suspension MTB or also bring the Lemond for gravelling.
