I don’t mind it, but I also really don’t have anything to compare it too. My cervelo came with something pretty similar. I really like what’s on my wife’s bike. I think it’s the performance tape or something like that. It’s supposed to be pretty hard to wrap though, and I don’t want my wife to get frustrated while wrapping my bars and quit. Then I would be tapeless.

Gentle trainer warmup, weight session if the legs can take it, and then to the yard for pre-launch boat prep.

The flare-up from Thursday's brief excursion has calmed down so I will probably ride today. It seems stupid to go to the trail but I might.
Stuffed chicken breast for dinner tonight. Stuffed chicken breast and pork chops were popular BITD. Now? A rarity. I wish it were popular again.
Those were the days.

I had the Reynold's on the gravel bike yesterday and the wind was strong and steady. I already knew that the Reynold's weren't nearly as good in crosswinds as the Zipps, but with the balloonish gravel tires, they were even worse - I really had to lean in to the wind.

If you go with white, something like this Tempo Microtex Classic (fizik.com) will be easier to clean up. Also, more durable than cork or synth cork tape.
YMMV
Black bar wrap seems most practical IMO.

i’ll check it out. I’ll prolly chicken out and go black. The red and blue don’t match at all.

Silly newb thought of me, but with going a size up I would thought that I would need less seat post on the Ritchey. Turns out that is not the case.

Does Bontrager make the Grippytack in a blue peek-a-boo? You could buy a roll of red and a roll of blue, do a side in each and be set for re-taping a couple years (or spills) down the line.

ikr.
ikr. Well, more like $60+tax, innit? And remember - it's for two tapings.
Does Conte's have any kind of preferred buyer program? I get 20% off one item per month and 10% off, all day erry day, otherwise. That helps me keep it local on a lot of things, if nothing else.

trek always puts my name down when I buy something. I’m hoping one day they just give me a madone or something..... wishful thinking.

Got a couple pics from yesterday. At the top of the 2nd longish climb. Lots of riders were there.
3 of our group on the long climb. They had dropped the other guy and I was ahead because I cheated.
The camera was placed on her seatpost and this is from the 5 mile descent as they passed me.
