Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I did find one on me--the first I'd seen in many years.

Given all the stuff I was wading through while farming, I'd be surprised if there wasn't undetected ticks.

I've been suffering from another malady the last week, beyond my normal woes.

Look up "Overtraining", and see if the symptoms sound familiar. I'm not saying that's you, because I don't know enough about either overtraining, or you. But I'm starting to wonder.

Ah. My cervelo bars are the same way. I had the shop wrap them and had told them to use electrical tape for the cables, that I did not want the tape across the whole bars. Somebody didn’t get the memo. So my bars on the emonda look just like that. I don’t have time to change it, and like you said. Prolly doesn’t make a difference.

The bees are still present at my house. The will not go away. It has rained for about 2 weeks straight and they are super active all the time. Super aggressive too. I tried to see if I could burn them last night, was about 5 feet away, just trying to tell if they were sleeping, and 5 shot out right at me. Didn’t get stung but WTF.

Crew member told me to pour windex down the hole. Apparently windex kills anything carbon based? Never heard that before. Told me to spray an ant with it, and the ant will fall into pieces.

My sister and I attended an artsy fartsy elementary school in a wooded area of the ‘burbs. Took lots of nature hikes and often played in the woods during recess. Mom had an old baby food jar filled with alcohol to kill the ticks she would pull off of us.

During 5th grade a kid who lived near me died of Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever the day before his birthday. His two brothers also attended the same school. One was in my class. It’s the first memory I have of being touched by death.

Your a 300w racing machine whereas I'm a 100w cruiser. It definitely won't matter to me.

I did it for more comfortable tops primarily.

I had a pair before that I had to return. They were comfortable, but the way they fit you could see the full outline of my crank- it might have been cause they were grey, I’m not sure

You could do this if you want to go medieval on them.
