Notice they didn't correct Eadies time (he had the better conditions) vs Kerstens time before the Athens games.
|
Could he have road career if he trimmed down a bit, or is he just too big?
|
like Beasley keeps saying: it's a farkin 'Australian' team, not a farkin AIS team
|
who said there's politics in bike racing admin???

It's been increased to about 10.6s (I can't remember exactly) so they can exclude him from the team if they want, even though he rode faster than Kisten and the other dude |

It was on CN....soemthing about the "atmospherics" or crap like that. Basically, Barras wants to be able to leave him out. Not sure who'd want to share a room with him at a major champs. |

A sub 10.5 is a sub 10.5. There is nothing about 'the average rectal humidity on the day and sticking my carkeys in the cracks of the track' in the selection policy. |

Man, I'm glad my roadies in the shop at the minute (still). Some blokes from work go out every lunch for a time trial out to Georges Plains and back (my favourite run). I was supposed to be going out with them this week but my bike was in the shop. Anwyay yesterday, the fellas were having a sprint into town. One of the fellas was comign around the other and somehow hit foot came uncliped on the downstroke, dug into the ground and he went down. They made it back to work at which point he collapsed. I didn't see him but they rekon if he was a car there wouldn't be a panel left untouched. Then today one of the other guys who go out at lunch did exactly the same thing! These dudes aren't noobs like me either. They've been riding and racing for years. It's like the bermuda triangle out there at the minute. I don't think I'll be game to go out on my roadie when I get it back. Don;t they say these thigns run in threes?

Apparently the track was rated 'fast' coz it was 29 degrees and low humidity |

some dude reckons Hill and Neiwand would beat Bayley 'every day of the week' http://www.cyclingforums.com/t-194901-15-5.html |

(but I don't know how to attach pics unfortunatley) |
Some of those blokes are rabbiting on about Koichi Nakano. Nakano had no one to race! Singleton and that dud Frenchman Cahard and that was about it |
