34kmh average, and that was Bates. The others were 4 minutes back. It was disappointing because I know they are much better atheletes than that.

That Kenyan dude was a legend. Good ride, and absolutely everyone was cheering him.

Yeah, I saw Media Watch too. How was the Darrel Eastlake's snippet from the weightlifting commentary - "Nothing like a good snatch".

WTF? Is he for real? And what about the quantity of adverts!?!? Shockingly crap coverage.

Hey, I just put together a Tephra SL / Chorus package price for a customer. Comes in a smidge under 5k. Decent price?

We all panicked when Littlemore nicked off, but every host since then has been pretty good, until now

Great price for a custom....won't beat that.

I love weightlifting and refused to watch the Ch 9 offering.....on Fox, it was David Fordham and Comm Games record holder Damian Brown. 1000 x more professional and informative than that outdated buffoon. They actually let the suspense and excitement of the event tell the story....oh....andthey showed the WHIOLE competition.

Yeah, I thought 5 grand was pretty good for a custom Tephra SL, Deda Black magic forks, full Chorus, Deda Newton Bars, Thomson stem, Chorus carbon post, SLK saddle, Chorus/DT/Open Pro/Michie Pro Race tires. No pedals, but what the heck - I think it's a smokin' deal.

And it's only taken me 3 years to get down into that price bracket, too. I could go lower if some of the other OEs would actually sell to me. I swear, some of these people have an aversion to making money.

Boonen. The guy has to be on the juice, right? He wins everything except the big tours. And if he got Cancer or shot himself, he'd probably win those too! :roflmao:

Now, where's Dick Cheneys telephone number....

ed073 03-27-06 11:26 PM

Strewth....I didn't know it had all that fruit on it!!

Deda, Thomson, Carbon Chorus.....all top shelf.

A great deal.

Crikey!! How tall is he?

what sort of weight does that come in at? at that price im tempted....

Thylacine 03-27-06 11:58 PM

I'm 6ft 4ins and run 177.5's. Was going to go with the 180's except I wimped out basically.

My next roadie I wanna go Campy for a change, but the big 'if' is whether I could handle going back to 175s. Not sure Campy does a 180.

Sh¡t, has Nev just roped us back into a crank length debate!?! How'd that happen!?! :p
