Brian 11-15-05 05:01 PM

berny 11-15-05 05:03 PM

Riding along in the Highland Fling, I passed a guy who's a dead cert for the best costume prize...
He's only dressed up like Groundskeeper Willie, Denim dungarees, wig, beard and a yellow face.

So I pass him and say, "nice outfit pal", to which he replies with a Scottish "Ayyyeee" and then says, man I cant stay in character, how do you do it..? :roflmao:

About 60KM in, theres a photographer taking pics as we grind up a hill, so I see him lining me up for a pic to capture my suffering, so I zip up my jersey and point to the scotland flag on my chest... to which he replies, "Too obvious, I'm not taking pictures of your sponsors"
I 'politely' told him it was a flag, and why would a middle of the pack plugger have sponsors..?

Brian 11-15-05 05:22 PM

I'll look into it. I think things got messy with the thread split.

It's from Supergo.com, but I'm pretty sure Aldi is selling it now too. Maybe not with the HRM. They also sell one at Pricepoint.com.

Mate, the only thing made in the US is false promises, porn stars, and bad movies. Oh wait, that's just California. My bad. No, I'm sure they're made in Japan or China like everything else. Vests? When I return to the US, I'll be shipping you guys whatever you want.

I was wondering how uncomfortable the vests would be on a long ride when the coolness has melted?California? could easily be Australia in the near future.Yesturday we had 50 power outages in the metro area, and it was only 32deg.Brings out the skirts, beach, and bikes, woohoo lifes good.

Crank'n, you're getting better with the quotes. The first tag is
] and the end one is
. You put in an extra / at the end of the last one.

Why did the Ugandan cycling team turn up at the 1978 commonwealth games without there bicycles?
Because they had been told the organisers would provide them .

And the Uruguay team arrived without their balls  :D

Brian 11-16-05 02:36 AM

No. No. No. Although I may show up at the track with a camera, I will never be there with a bike. Never.

531Aussie 11-16-05 08:58 PM
