Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

First time I saw them was circa '79 in Ol' Virginee on Assateague Island. Got an incredible sunburn that weekend.

I've also seen them in AZ and WY. Some of the hoses I've seen in other western states may have been feral also but I just didn't know it

Here's a table showing those managed by the BLM.

Do olde issues of People magazine not entertain you?

Do they still have Highlights Magazine? Haven't seen one in a while.

I’ve seen them on Mission Road NW of Green Valley, AZ. They often hang out around the Komatsu proving grounds because there is a water source nearby or so the locals tell me.

I've been though the dessert on a hose with no name,
It felt good to be out of the reign.

And they probably make you fill out five pages of forms, both times. #MedicalIndustrialComplex

I saw some deer on last night's walking and running activity. Pretty much the same as wild horses

Back then there was no advertising inside the stadium except the 76 ball above the message board.

I've seen plenty of deer. I've never seen a wild horse. Where are they going to get a good pair of shoes out in the wilderness?

You still have to fill out the same repetitive questions that you may have answered numerous times before.

I love it when you have to fill out the form, even though none of your information has changed since the last time you were there, and then in the exam room the assistant asks you something you just answered (again) on the form. #MedicalIndustrialComplex

I would've been singing this the whole ride...

I don't think I've ever found a discount code on the Internets that worked.

Voltaren ... the 'gel'? My story: I have a bad back (L5/S1 disc buggered) that acts up occasionally. Back in '16 (I think) it seized up horribly, so Mrs. Badger decided to try Voltaren gel on it. Within about 10 minutes I had all the symptoms of a heart attack. Ambulance called; off to ER; tests etc. Nothing 'wrong'. After about 8 hours I was sent home, still a bit wobbly. Took about a day+ for all the symptoms to subside. Had a follow-up with a cardiologist -- all clear. Turns out that somewhere in the fine print is the statement that this is a 'known' but 'extremely rare' reaction. Needless to say, I've never gone near the stuff since.
