Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I think he's afraid we'll use his pics like those of R600DuraAce.

Of course, should we choose to do that, these "Ghost of Euro" pics are even better.

EURO, I think your bike will look a lot better with deeper section wheels. (you mentioned carbone or something, did you not?). But apart from that, cool bike. Who took the pics?

ya bro-you are odd.

If you need to wait for the results to see how you did, most likely you don't want to know.

Because it's not really him.

EDIT: All joking aside, how do you plan to prove to the "doubting thomases" of the world that you are actually racing, and if you do make it into the top 1000/100/whatever if you won't post any identifying pictures?

probably just coincidence, because Ben seemed like a much faster rider than euro .

yes, there was a pic a while back. I'm too tired to dig that one up though, plus I've still got work to do before going to bed!

*edit*
Work was boring. According to euro, the below pic is him. It's from this thread: https://www.bikeforums.net/road-cycling/161097-flexibility.html

Who took the pics?
Ummm, one of the the official photographers…. I think there were three of them

All joking aside, how do you plan to prove to the "doubting thomases" of the world that you are actually racing, and if you do make it into the top 1000/100/whatever if you won't post any identifying pictures?
Trusted forum members will verify the facts.

If you need to wait for the results to see how you did, most likely you don't want to know.
Like I say, two races are run at the same time, and I don’t know which categories the people in front of me were from. So I have no idea where I came in my race.

probably just coincidence, because Ben seemed like a much faster rider than euro
I agree. Ben did seem much faster than me.

...Euro never reveals where he lives or races

For those who don’t know the history, the ‘phantom’ is the bike, not me.

You say that you don't care what people think of you here, but you are afraid to post your picture.
Post your picture then… In this thread.
