Thanks in advance!

i'm new to the game. . . so just got my first road bike. it's a specialized dolce on super sale at my LBS-- i'm a little ashamed to say that part of why i love it to death is the fact that it's purple. will post a pic eventually-- for all you LA riders if you see a black girl on a purple bike struggling up mandeville or westridge-- give a nod, I could use the encouragement

It's good to buy a bike you think looks nice since you have to look at it every time you ride.
Congratulations!

LOL. I know. I sold my felt but I dont know what to change it to. I think I will just keep it the same to stand for something like, "I Felt like riding".

Here's my brand new Specialized Allez Sport!
Pretty much my first road bike (unless you count the older Trek I borrowed just to see how I would like road biking), and I'm loving this bike already. This was pretty much all I needed from my first bike, and BF was a lot of help in considering comparable bikes just by searching and reading. Eagerly awaiting summer!

I use this as my winter bike/trackstand bike/rain bike/around-town bike. It's pretty durable and only weighs like 20pounds!

Crackerjab - I think your bike is awesome ! It's not how much your bike costs, it's what you make of it. I have a pretty expensive (for me) Specialized bike and a much cheaper one -- and I enjoy the less expensive one just as much. Getting out there is what's important. Happy trails.

Here's the new bike in the stable, for my daughter. She hasn't seen it yet, it's in her room at home to suprise her with in about an hour. I've posted mine about a million times but I just put red stripped Michelin Carbons (sp) and red bar tape on it and will repost a pic tonight.
