Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

OOh I like the black on the 07. The 06 was Blue and it wasn't bad but I didn't like the ride...I went with a Cannondale Rush 800. Great bike though.

'04 components w/ an '05 frame.
It's way more bike than I need, but I like it.

I really wish they'd been able to find more space to write 'Specialized' a few more times 'cause, like, someone might not realize it's a Specialized bike and I really want the whole world to know {tone dripping with sarcasm}

finally got a digital camera. Snapped a quick one this evening just to showcase my ultra cool 'flipped stem' and white bottle cages. Not a great pic, and the cages didn't show up too well against my white wall, but whatever.
BTW, got the white cages because the lbs only had one black one left. I ended up really likeing them.... perhaps I'll try some white bar tape next?

carrotpatchkid, you just got her and your already selling her on ebay? There was a customized flame print tarmac up for grabs on ebay several days ago....Your photo matches that.........hmmmmmmm Hope that your bike isn't in California as so the ebay seller proclaims....

Hell no I'm not selling her, I'm still waiting on shipping... what can I say, I'm a lil anxious about actually riding it.

Haha, that was his bike and now it's mine... I have a feeling I'll be putting in entirely too many miles on Saturday when the heat index is over 100.
