Mac and Shimano, but I don't care about Shimano, it's just there. My Mac is an extension of my mind. It is a creative hub. With it I surf the web, blog, create web pages and podcasts, edit music and video, process photographs, design pages and posters. I carry it everywhere, usually on my Shimano equiped bike.
Macs are clearly the choice for the creative. PCs are for accountants, dentists, and boy gamers. PCs are for businesss. Macs are for life. Now, let's talk about God, or something easy. |
Mac (Powerbook G4) and Campy ('07 Chorus).

I rarely come accross a situation where I cant find a mac program to do a task, in fact.. ive never been stumped yet.. and that is using them at home and in the office.. (accounting software, industry specific software etc.) 2. Pro-E, Solidworks, Alias and Rhino do not run on Macs. Those 4 programs probably hold about a 95% market share for new product development. Cobalt (the most popular NPD program for Macs) is absolutely worthless, you cannot develop a new product with it. All of Apple's products were developed on PCs (I love the irony). If you eliminate PCs, you will stop hundreds of billions of dollars of the GDP, they are irreplaceable. |

pc vs mac, who cares? I support Apple since my wife works there, but all computers suck since they were all programmed by humans. Campy, however... there's just no argument there. Anybody that doesn't prefer campy has either never tried it, is too cheap to pay for the better things in life, or has wierdly shaped hands such that they prefer the shimano hoods better. |

And SRAM.... Viva la SRAM. |

used to be built that way, but now they use the same hardware (at least where it matters) |

Apple still wants to think they're a hardware company with. Which i'm mostly OK with because their hardware is solid, but it wouldn't hurt if they opened it up a bit. |

..fade to 1983 when young psimet rushes home to tell Electrical Engineering father about cool new computer he just saw a friend's house. Friend's dad is IU Professor.... Psimet: "Hey dad, I saw this cool looking box computer that has a thing with one button and a cord. I could draw with it and make pictures." Father Psimet: "That's called a Mac son. Your friend has it because his father is a hippie. He's 'creative'. Macs are good for pictures, and artsy feel good stuff, but they just can't do real work. Just like hippies." Psimet: "Dad, why do you sound like Darth Vadar, and why did the room just get cold?" PC Shimano (Of course) and Campagnolo. |
PC:Shimano
