The flecks in the paint are pretty hawt. Hard to go wrong with that kind of bar tape, too. Very nice. Still, I find it odd that they went with white decals on the sides of the frame but gold on the HT.

You've got a point. The White S-Works has a gold outline, that again is hard to catch on photos, and in the white there is all the name of the world champions up till 2016.

What is really hard to capture in photos is the massive amount of glitter, plus the rainbow bar tape. There is more detail than what is seen in the photos. Maybe I should get a better camera.

Definitely hot. Those paint flecks are just gorgeous.

The first Bianchi is almost TOO classy to be hot.
The second one -
The Alan, well, that's pretty jazzy. Not a regular road bike, is it? Not sure why you used your Bianchi cable housings on it. I like the wheels.

The second one, uggg, disgusting bar tape wrap job. The saddle looks out of context with the frame. Could be hot?
The third, no comment other than not hot.

Smoldering! Can't wait to see it in person.

The first Bianchi is classic - I would hate to install that bar wrap! The new one is ok... but why the chrome stem on a bike that is mostly with black accents? Yes, the bar tape wrap needs to be re-done. The old school Brooks saddle looks wrong on that bike and the upward nose tilt looks painful. The pedals should be black to make this bike hot. Remove the rest of the Reynolds decals. I am not a huge fan of the gumwall trend, particularly on this bike. It is a 4th color and is not necessary. Hey, are those valve stems long enough?

Fox Farm 09-19-17 12:54 AM

Oh, and just noticed: Are those camp on aero bars??? Nope....

That's a Cinelli Grammo titanium stem, black accents you see are actually slots for the clamp portion of the stem.

Saddle angle may not be correct for aesthetics, but functionally it's the way it should be; the closer you sit towards the nose, the less distance you have to the cranks.. higher saddle nose would compensate for that.

Pedals should match the Bianchi celeste green IMO.

I'm pretty sure those are tubular wheels/tires.. gumwall does clash with the wheels/bike..

I think those are Cinelli Spinaci, once popular in early/mid 90's, until crashes started to occur when pros used them in mass-start events.

Later on, Cinelli made them into short/lightweight versions for those who just can't commit to full-on aero bars:

Brought this out of retirement to hold me over until I know what I want out of a go fast bike and buy something new. What stem angle to I need to level this out?

You need to get the image location, not just the page link. I'd post it but it's huge.

Looks like you have a 0° stem on there. A -6° should match the top tube angle.

Not sure why the picture isn't working. I'll try again on my computer later.

Not usually a big Trek fan but that looks great to me. Btw, how did you link such a large image? My three pics won't upload from imgur, says they're too big :(

haggiszero 09-21-17 01:22 PM

Thanks. Should have taken off my light before i took that pic...Really enjoying the new wheels. These are alot wider than my 10yr old Mavic. The 25mm tires really puff out, running ~65psi.
Just sent it to my computer as a "large image" from my iphone, uploaded to imgur, and did the [ img] links.

kansukee 09-21-17 01:39 PM

Yeah that's what I'm not getting...shouldn't it be ?

haggiszero 09-21-17 01:40 PM

yes thats it.

kansukee 09-21-17 01:51 PM

Thanks! I'm pretty sure that's what I did before but they're showing now which is what I wanted.
