Are those 25mm width rims with 700x28c tires?

Very nice build. I think it would look better with the stem flipped. Don't like the tire choice for those wheels.

Thx. I will hopefully be able to flip the stem in the future when my flexibility improves and my neck won’t bother me. I have to put a few spacers on to raise me up a bit. I’ve had neck surgery and can’t go too low without having issues. What tires would you put on it? I’m curious. I wanted some tires that have some grip and these are the S-works gripton tires in 25 mm size.

Nasty bar tape is a badge of honor. Shows you ride the bike and not just look at it :thumb::thumb:

Yes. And I was going to say: grimy yellow bar tape on a matte/charcoal bike wouldn't be so bad. What's really offensive is grimy tape on a bright, shiny bike.

Hmm. Well, it has good credentials, I suppose.
Some people like mango habanero hot wings, too. Yes, they are hot, but to me they taste like gasoline candy. That's what this bike in its lurid flashiness reminds me of.

Obviously smitten, not sure I've ever detected a stronger attempt to veil one's jealousy and desire.

Actually, I have to go with kbarch on this one...and I do like mango habanero.

Thanks - any time, don't hesitate to ask. :)
Honestly, I'm glad some people think bikes like that are hot - it keeps things interesting.

 Oh, there's no veiling. I don't doubt for a second it's hot, but I'm happy with my (comparatively) homely bikes. It IS possible to be repelled by something that is just TOO much for ones taste, as much as ones taste may tend in that direction. ;)

Nice wheels deserve nice tires. Those are "training" tires. Also, adjust that front skewer to point to the rear. :thumb:
Hot bike !

A nice set of Vittoria Evos. Most folks here really like Continental 4000 series.

You can mount the bell on the under-side of the stem

for some aero-stealth-cleanliness.

What's up with the tiny stem?

Also: is that a bell on an s-works tarmac? :foo:

It's what all the cool kids are doing these days.

Capo72 11-28-17 08:44 AM

Not Hot^^^^^^^ as much as it pains me to say that. I mean it should be hot with that parts list. Sagan superstar Tarmac=Hot, Zipp 454= Hot, eTap w/ Quarq power meter= Hot. It's just the set up of all these great components is not hot with that short, flipped up stem. Not much saddle to bar drop for a race bike. You obviously spent a wheel barrow of money on this fine machine and it's probably a dream to ride. It's just not hot set up like that.
