Nice bike there jorge. I love the visual appeal of the design of that frame. It looks good with rival, would probably look ridiculous with RED. I see the Kysriums around a lot now. Are they really that decent?

Thanks. Ksyriums are good all around wheels and serve my purposes really well, so if you can snag a pair for cheap I recommend them since they're pretty bulletproof and relatively light.

my scattante above has been posted 3 times all with no response. i guess i will take the same response.

It's just that it's a "quiet" bike. It isn't loud and obnoxious like a lot of the other bikes on BF. It almost goes unnoticed or maybe it's stealth-like? Nice touches of red btw.

Why post a stock image of a Wilier when you posted your Rocky Mountain in the other thread?

2010 Ridley Compact
SRAM Rival
Fizik Arione CX saddle
Ritchey WCS seatpost and Classic bars
PRO Vibe 7S stem
Ksyrium Elite wheel set

I removed all of the components from my BMC (damaged in an accident) and built up the Ridley. This was my first build so I learned a lot from the experience and had a good time doing it.

Hot.

It needs some deep carbon wheels. They work the same magic as stripper shoes and a six pack.

Hi,

This is hot. It would be even hotter with a different stem. Nice job. :)

Mansram01 12-19-10 09:43 PM

The Scattante's on this page are pretty good looking. Love the race wheels.

I swear one day I will pull those black rings off the frame when I am not feeling so lazy :)

This one has potential and it just sizzles for now. What you need is some maroon scotch brite from your local automotive store and spend a day or two on it. Give it the true Lynskey look! You've already scrubbed the Scattante off and now its partly shiny, no turning back now!

giantdefy 12-19-10 09:49 PM

This bike is way too sexy, BEST looking painted Ti frame period! Good job!

I love the paint job, but not the stem or seatpost.

thirdgenbird 12-19-10 09:55 PM

it's cliché, but that thing needs a thomson seatpost and stem
