i think it is a very classy build. if it were campagnolo it would be just as i would build it.
not a huge deal, but a carbon crankset would create better contrast but changing for that reason would be silly. |

rotate bars up. Move shifters a bit down. Saddle forward a tiny bit and you're there.
It seems to work for him, I'd leave it exactly like it is. Besides his next bike, the Advanced SL, is going to be hot for sure. |

Bars and shifters are a little goofy for my taste and I'd go with a black saddle and bartape but otherwise this is a really nice bike. I love the colors, the wheels (albeit gaudy with the decals) actually work well with the bike, nice saddle/bar drop, etc.

i think it is the bar curve that makes your levers look wrong. it looks like the levers clamp right on the curve.
i prefer my bars/levers in a traditional "flat" setup: http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/k...m/DSC01109.jpg your hoods appear to angle up. it is a good looking bike though |

For examples, the levers and bars are set up pretty much the same as these:

They're traditional drop bars, my favorite. There's no "flat" set up. The hoods are just how they are.
Thanks :) edit: i think shimano levers make it look more pronounced. |

you can get "traditional" round drop bars that do not put your hoods at a funny angle. yours appear to be a shallow drop. i hear good things about them and they seem pretty common but i have hands the size of tennis rackets. deep ergo drops suit me best.
edit: i think shimano levers make it loom more pronounced. |
that titanium bike is not hot. tubes are wicked ugly.

It's a reasonably deep drop.. I wouldn't consider it shallow. 139 mm drop.

I think my almost 6 inches of saddle to bar drop make it seem deeper. |

Oh. Well, they seem deep. Whatever.
I think my almost 6 inches of saddle to bar drop make it seem deeper. that picture if my bar drop is deceptive: http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/k...m/DSC01109.jpg http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/k...m/DSC01114.jpg http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/k...m/DSC01120.jpg http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/k...m/DSC01119.jpg anyway, now that we are completely derailed.... that ridley and colnogo are nice. |
