I just built this up last month. Chinese carbon frame from eBay, full 105 5700 group, Mavic Aksium Race wheels. Relatively low-cost build just for the experience of building a bike for myself. Came in a hair over 17 lbs.

The bike did cost me quite a bit...=(

That's Ok lee. Thanks to people that can and don't mind spending it, people like me who can't, but probably would, get to gawk at and drool over such beautiful things I would have no otherwise way of knowing even exist. I would love to see a picture of the WHOLE thing.

Wowzaz.. That is a very stiff looking bike with some very prominent stiff lines. That looks incredible leej. Not that you care what any of us should think. Thank you for the pics, it totally completes the chronicle. ;)
BTW: the wheels look amazing. Spokes and all even bring out the lines in the bike. Schawing. |
*sigh* and all I want is a lowly RX Instinct with Chorus... very nice, sir - one of my favorites seen on BF.
|
Thank you! I did however in my quest and research in building up this bike score myself a couple of great deals due to the weak POUND and DOLLAR just a couple of months back and I would say that really helped a lot!
The LW Rear D was also procured at COST price since I knew the owner of my LBS and he decided to be really nice during Christmas/New Year period. |
What is there website? I can't even find it since if you look up lightweight, carbon, parts, wheels, anything it just has a million other things.

I saw the new RX Instinct in this month's Colorado Cyclist. Pretty sweet and $2500 less. |

I was going to add my 'finished' S-works, but after the Guru and the Time above it'd be like Pee Wee Herman boxing Mike Tyson...

@Kabex, Its Singapore. But we're near Malaysia though...
@DGASMD, I had my unit sent back to my dealer for a replacement and I'll be getting a new one next week. It works fine just not so when I'm on the 23rd and using my front 50T.. |
Time = sick :eek:

Leej, I think your bike just Killed this thread man. Lol. Congratulations to the hottest bike on BF. No other bike dares to post afterwords. :) Good stuff.
|
Fair enough. The Time wins.
Game over. |
the time is nice but not the hottest. That photographer guy that has the red italian steel ride wins. I think his name has something with a 15 in it.
