You don't even have to go that far back. Basso sported some kind of fancy adjustable-on-the-fly seatpost at the Tour this year.

So he says, so it must be. Why would anyone have to adjust their bike, the concept is ridiculous.......

Makes you wonder why they even make different stems to begin with. Everyone shouls be riding the exact same setup, because someone else says so. Lol.

The other thing this does is allow you to kind of go from Endurance cycling to Speed with a very nice Non squeaking adjustment with very little weight penalty when you ad it up. (the bike is still 13 lbs)

Blah, blah, blah. It's ugly. Am I on the wrong thread?

JSS 01-11-12 01:32 PM

I think it is a good looking bike, mildly hot, but fast as ****

RedLeg 01-11-12 01:37 PM

Can we go back to posting pictures of "hot" or "not" bikes?

sbxx1985 01-11-12 01:40 PM

I agree. Time to move on.

My 3rd road bike got some new upgrades. The wheels really make it look nice. Maybe not hot compared to the Look (IMO) but for a touring bike, I think I'll look much nicer than most everybody else on the route.
(yes they are clipless hybrid pedals)

A hot touring bike is quite a bit to attempt. Should it be judged by touring bike standards? If so, then the graphics are way too flashy. The rear rack doesn't look level (although the sloping ground make that hard to judge). The saddle looks like it could fall off of the seat post at any moment. I don't like the red bar tape either. Overall though, not bad.

It's my first bike, Revenio 3.0 with Marinoni frame/fork because the regular Revenio 3.0 was too small.

I'm not really sure what a Revenio or Marinoni is, but if you replace the frame on a bike with a different model frame, doesn't the bike stop being the first bike and become the second?

NathanC 01-11-12 04:47 PM

Spooky = hot

NathanC 01-11-12 04:50 PM

Marinoni = not hot at all

This is actually my favourite frame in the world. I'm riding it right now and I love it.

That said, this bike is an aesthetic mess.

Go to black tires, white seat and bar tape and white cable and it'll improve a lot. There is no reason for neon green to be on this bike. Even if you are a Basso fan.

What's with those handlebars? The drops look HUGE. The saddle tilt looks painful too.

Help me make this a "hot"

Yes I know crappy cell phone pic, but I'll get a "real" pic when the build is complete

Getting 2013 Sram red groupset when it comes out
Have psimet and 45mm carbon wheels already
new stem, bars, cages and saddle to be bought - should I stay black or go white or other?
