With the black, white, & grey scheme I think I'll be calling her "Black Diamond" or "Nightrider"!

Start your own build thread... it will be much more productive.

As it stands in pieces... definitely a NOT

The black transformed you bike. Well done.

I think everyone missed the fact that the black came BEFORE the blue. Hence, "Got hit by a car later that wrecked my black saddle, so I used the free [blue] one rather than buying a new black saddle."

Not I.

What another negative comment TROLL? Your opinion is worthless...

I think it's a nice looking frame. Could do far, far worse.

I agree. I like the blue. Quite a bit actually, but it needs more to tie it all together. Maybe blue chainring bolts, derailleur hardware, that would all help a bit. Maybe even blue spoke nipples.

And I'll be outfitting it with SRAM Force shifters, derailleurs, cassette and chain;

Changing the 'cockpit' to Ritchey WCS aluminum in BB black color;

And my saddle of choice is the Ritchey Streem;

And last but not least! I'll eventually upgrade the wheelset to Mavic Ksyrium Equipes:

You are not getting home free that easy. Put it together then we shall see, besides, what you are asking for is above my pay rate.

IcySmooth52 02-21-12 05:23 PM

I'll have pics of the bike will all the mentioned components except the Mavic wheels by the end of next week. That'll give us a good idea of how hot she (it) is.

I love all of your positive comments as well.

I love how your name is the sound everyone makes as they go blowing past your over weight, fredly, slow ass

he put a smiley face at the end of his post so it was clear he didn't actually intend to insult anyone. you, on the other hand, seem to go out of your way to make unnecessarily negative and insulting comments. maybe you're an a-hole or maybe you're just trolling...can't tell. whooosshhh is neither.

i really like that blue...but it just doesn't go here IMHO.

i think it goes well with the frame and would perhaps work better with silver wheels and maybe some matching blue tires - and red black shifters, because the bit of red on the tip clashes pretty badly. maybe a white seatpost as well. but with the bike set up as is, i think saddle and bars need to be black (or maybe white).

The wheels look great as they are and red "black" shifters are the exact same as "red" shifters. The red tip is still there either way. Also, blue tires would only make it worse. The bike needs a white seat and white bar tape. Black would work as well, but I think white would look really sharp on that bike.

I put the SRM on my new bike. I happened to find the Quarq on ebay at an insane price and I couldn't pass it up.

Comments on my bike are about what I expected. I like it, but I'm not really sure that I like it. I guess I'm used to 3 years of black tape and saddle

Only problem with this is those are the whitest garage doors on BF int he past 3 years, cranks pointed at (Downtube) also acceptable in this thread, if by stems you mean valve stems, it would be 6:00 not 3.
