Nice looking bike, the spacers do throw it off a bit from looking "pro", but you have to ride what fits. Question though, if you are really just riding centuries, why the Enves? Do you think they give you an advantage of some sort, or was it just a question of wanting wheels (for whatver reason) and feeling like the money was worth fulfilling your desire? There are disadvantages to them over other types (cross wind, etc) so I was curious why you would go for them if you are the type of "century rider" the tone of your post seems to indicate. (Other than the obvious ... looks, of course.)

Not
ideas to help get it there... fix that saddle tilt, cut that nub, flatten out those bars, black OR white cages, white bar tape to match the saddle or get black saddle. |
Yeah - the white cage isn't supposed to be there... Needed it for a ride yesterday. I'm actually putting a new full carbon handlebar on it tomorrow, I'll flatten the bars then. That will get it down to 16lb 2oz. Not really sure why they sell this bike with a white post and seat... Going to look weird when I put a new black saddle on it. And the nub.... yeah I know... I've only had it for a couple months... Been hesitant to cut it myself.

Somebody suggested mismatched bottle cages for my BMC.I don't understand the esthetics behind such move and I find it utterly absurd.Did the seat post come white from the factory? If it did they are smoking some good sh** in there. Also why did you turn your seat post forward and then pushed your seat all the way back?!!! Strange! |

And for photographic purposes, look at what gear you have this thing in!!! The derailleur police will come confiscate your bike...

AND, what is with your seat post set up? Intentional???

I seriously cannot wait to buy a 'size-too-small' frame so I can put on a 120mm stem and slam it. That Trek makes me want one even more.
(Not a snark comment, I really want one for a crit bike.) |

Not and how on earth can you put up that pic being so NOT like any of the other photos of HOT bikes???? Zipps with aluminum brake tracks are, to me, out of date.

Aluminum/Carbon wheels are more in now than they were. So, out of date on the zipps maybe, but to the rest of the world right on par or ahead of the game. The picture is crap though. Why people can't figure out Drive side photography is beyond me.

Finally had some time to finish off my newest build. Hoping to get it on the road first thing Monday morning.
