Don't jump in the middle of a conversation. 1. its rude 2. you look like an idiot because we are not talking about the RB-1. We were talking about a yellow 1991 bridgestone. That goes for about $250, or $50 at a garage sale....whatever comes first.

It just does...Dont be jealous because I can overcome adversity and still be awesome. I am like Lance Armstrong, fast. Unbeatable. And on some kind of drug. :)

The photos you quoted along with your comment;
are of a 1993 Bridgestone RB-1 in yellow. The frameset alone on this bike is worth at least $700 when in perfect condition. I know this because I sold one last year for that amount. I wouldn't be surprised if he spent at least another $2,000 on the rest of the bike. |
haha ha ha aaaaaaa. nooooooo.
i wana see your bike super ginsu |

bottom line....the bike sucks. All I am saying is people post bikes that are worth so much and do so much more...At the end of the day if BRIDGESTONE was so good at making bikes they wouldn't have stopped in the 90's....They wised up and went back to making tires.

Blah, blah, blah - still waiting on the bike, Ginsu (who names themselves after a ****ty $20 knife?).

Funny enough my friend sold his Cannondale Six (not Super Six) to purchase a Bridgestone. Yes yes, funny name Anchor, but here in Japan, Anchor means the member (of a team) with the greatest strength / ability.
Sadly I too don't have a picture of the / a Cannondale, but this is his Anchor (Bridgestone) I think it's beauty in simplicity myself. http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f2...tis2/nobu1.jpg |

Bridgestone is largely responsible for our ability to buy mix-and-match Shimano in the 90s. They were the first to bust up groups and mix with 3rd parties to get you a great bike for less cash. I've had four of them, and won races on the road and off road on them. Nothing wrong with Bridgestones. My heart actually lept a little when I saw these recent pics of them... |

in the spirit of older rides... heres mine. found the bike in a garage and have been slowly replacing parts. I just bought some campy brifters so I can get ride of the downtube shifters. It is very snappy. |
