are of a 1993 Bridgestone RB-1 in yellow. The frameset alone on this bike is worth at least $700 when in perfect condition. I know this because I sold one last year for that amount. I wouldn't be surprised if he spent at least another $2,000 on the rest of the bike.

Good at arguing? Missed that part.
Mutha****in FAST on a BIKE? Don't know how a learning disability would make you faster on a bicycle, but ok.

It just does...Dont be jealous because I can overcome adversity and still be awesome. I am like Lance Armstrong, fast. Unbeatable. And on some kind of drug. :)

email me personally and i can invite you to celebrate my Tour de France WIN

Price/value has nothing to do with hot vs not. There are plenty of well put together vintage and value builds that are visually leauges above off the shelf bikes or ones put together with a credit card.

Blah, blah, blah - still waiting on the bike, Ginsu (who names themselves after a ****ty $20 knife?).

I'm extremly sorry to hear about your brain injury. That's serious business and hope your recovery is going well. That said, could you go ahead and post the picture of your Cannondale. Have your Mom or Dad help you with the picture if you haven't done it before. By the time you get to middle school you'll have it down to a science. Looking forward to the picture...:D

giantcfr1 11-19-12 02:13 AM

Funny enough my friend sold his Cannondale Six (not Super Six) to purchase a Bridgestone. Yes yes, funny name Anchor, but here in Japan, Anchor means the member (of a team) with the greatest strength / ability.

Sadly I too don't have a picture of the / a Cannondale, but this is his Anchor (Bridgestone)
I think it's beauty in simplicity myself.

When they stopped selling the States, I knew two bike shop owners in Denver who were quite upset.

Bridgestone is largely responsible for our ability to buy mix-and-match Shimano in the 90s. They were the first to bust up groups and mix with 3rd parties to get you a great bike for less cash. I've had four of them, and won races on the road and off road on them. Nothing wrong with Bridgestones.

My heart actually lept a little when I saw these recent pics of them...

in the spirit of older rides... heres mine. found the bike in a garage and have been slowly replacing parts. I just bought some campy brifters so I can get ride of the downtube shifters. It is very snappy.

Here in Prague, we have the read cobbles like that. They call them 'cat heads' but I am not sure why. They are not a lot of fun to ride on with a road bike and stiff wheels...
