i kind of want to take a sharpie to every single non-black painted surface on my frame.

I think the background is too busy in this one. Thoughts?

I'd tell you the brand, but it came stock.

It's a stock stick.

There are no pedals...

The look on her face looks painful, like she is pushing out a fart. Its not seductive at all. Her pose looks very forced and unnatural.

This pose and bike would look better if it was done on a race track or center of the road with curvy vanishing point or dark tunnel behind. The foreground and the background do not fit the bike. In fact is kind of stupid. If there is an object in the background of a photo shoot like this, it usually has some sort of correlation to object being photographed.

Fail IMHO

jtwilson 02-06-13 10:17 PM

Firstly, I did not notice the lack of pedals.

Secondly, the staging of the photo is definitely a fail. Anything that was relevant to the use of the bike would have been much better. I don't have a problem with the model's pose or facial expression though.

Those zertz inserts look like they'd do a good job with road vibration

Hi, both of these bikes are basically hot. My reservation on both is the cassette. What kind of criterium courses do they have where you race? Look like your largest cog is at least 25 teeth. A really hot "crit bike" should have nothing larger than a 21 tooth cog on the back which allows for mostly 1 tooth jumps between gears. :)

Otherwise, keep up the good work.

PatrickGSR94 02-07-13 08:17 AM

yeah but who makes a 11-21 10sp cassette?

Their warehouse is just down the street from my office in Fort Lauderdale. I see a few of the bikes on the weekends along A1A. Sadly never ridden by ANY of the girls in any of their photos.

Yeah awful location. Looks like they took it right outside their warehouse. They have a bunch of shots from the owners house where the girls are all over. Much better. Don't care for the bikes at all though. Not the best reputation.

Shimano Dura-ace 11-21. I run a 12-23 Ultegra.

The background too much white sky, the white tanker is distracting, so is the orange sign thing on the center left, the big lighting on top of the black tanker is distraction. I also don't like the way the angles of the train track and black tanker conflicts with the angle of the bike.

You guys take this WAY too seriously. I can't imagine antmeeks was serious with his comment... I think he was looking for salivating males but this is a tough crowd. Yes, the photo ... isn't the best, to put it kindly. The bike looks pretty good, I'd like to see more of the bike and less of the background. And I'd love to hear more about the bikes, but it seems this is a nicely painted Chinese frame? Or at least that's what it looks like to me.

Pretty rough getting a model out there all gussied up, then shoot her with a phone camera with a high sun and available light.

At least the valve stems are arranged.

Reflections on the frame (and her top) lead me to believe that some wholly inadequate fill-in flash was used.

kcollier5 02-07-13 03:33 PM

Ok, I missed the evident sarcasm there... So it was good. I'm laughing at the whole thing. :D

But, I still want to know about the frame... ;)

Just switched over to a 12-23 ultegra with a 42/54 up front. Feels good.
