I'm not "discusted" with your bike, but it's not hot(IMO). Neither is my primary ride. You have a raging case of OCP, but I'm sure you'll get over it when you ride a little more.
and you know how much I ride again how? |

Nobody really knows since you talk about 24mph average speeds on climbing rides but never post any data.

more like, He asked for it when he posted it in the hot OR Not thread. One should realize by now that everyone has different criteria for what is Hot or Not. On top of the bike being Hot or Not, there are "rules" to staging the bike, which I didn't make up. Sometimes the bike is just so freaking hot that the crank arm not being in the right position doesn't matter. BUT when you have a bike that is on the fence, anything that doesn't follow the "rules" is most likely going to be pointed out.
 Oh no....someone doesn't like my bike because I said I didn't like his friends bike and pointed out other things that weren't up to standards with the photo. I'm going for a walk along the river now. You know how I know you saying my bike is a not, is "genuine"? Because out of times I have posted my bike, you have never been so strongly discusted with my bike till I made a comment about the photo you posted, which obviously made you angry. BUT you are entitled to you opinion. I'll post my bike up against yours whenever you want and lets see who takes the poll though? |

I choose not to race because I dont want to put myself in a situation where the chances of a crash increase considerably. I cant afford to fix my bike for a while if that happens. Just because I had one really great PR doesn't mean I should automatically start racing. I entered into a couple races 2 seasons ago. didnt go well for me for one and I just didn't like it. probably because it didn't go well. I have never even hooked my garmin up to my computer. Other than using the usb to charge it, I couldn't tell you how to upload the info or what it even looks like.

Save me a spot at Starbucks Personally, I think everybody should race. It's what these bikes are made for. It's when you truly appreciate what they can do, but I understand why people don't race. I didn't race for like 20 years of road riding and finally decided to. It was then I realized that the whole time I'd been telling myself something similar to bianchi10 about not wanting to crash was just B.S. that I made up to protect my ego from having to compete. |

Aww cmon folks, let's not get the thread locked up. Everyone just put their big boy kits on and get back to admiring/picking apart pictures of nice bikes.

Seriously, you are OCP to the max.
BTW, no matter what wheelset you you put on you Crack-n-fail, it's not "hot". It will always look like a billboard on wheels. related to OCD? |

I've had more than my share of wrecks(PM me if you want to really know), and I will not race a mass start event ever again, but TTs are great. |

I would expect this bickering on a Friday or Saturday night, but Sunday night? Let's all simmer down please. |

I understand your reluctance to race, but TTs and hilclimbs are a ton of fun.

The reason I don't do organized rides or races (besides the fact that I'm slow as molasses) is that they cost money. Bianchi's bike funds are only from what of his old bike stuff he can sell. Doesn't make sense to spend the scarce money on a one-time thing that may or may not turn out well. |

The part that you're not factoring in is the cost.

Doesn't make sense to spend the scarce money on a one-time thing that may or may not turn out well. I didn't know he was unable to spend $40 to enter a race. I'm pretty thrifty too. |
