You're only fooling yourself if you think that's a $1000 frame. And it's ugly.

i may be buying a frame that comes with a tompson seatpost, deda stem, and chris king headset
i spent 20 min and threw on some of my 8spd campy to see what it might look like (not set to fit): http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/k...a/DSC00863.jpg http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/k...a/DSC00860.jpg http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/k...a/DSC00867.jpg if built it would wear Record 8spd cranks and brifters with chorus everywhere else. |

Yea but no way will you get MSRP selling them used. I was assuming they would be sold for ~$1000

Got recomendations for fixing it? Or just gonna stand at the "it's ugly" It's $999 list. Or at least it was. I got it cheap used. And it's lighter than most carbon frames.
It seems this has become the not hot thread. |

There's no fixing it, it's ugly. And the $1000 thing is ridiculous, list or no list.

http://imgur.com/zKfV7l.jpg The only change is a sram force crankset to replace the worn out FSA jobber. |

i vote not... the white stem feels so freakin out of place here...
I think I like the white fork idea on my bike... And the wheels have to go. There's just to much bontranger on that puppy. But first comes getting a new stem, after last season the 50mm feels really short. |
1st road bike...... I switched it over to a double and 105 components with new rims.
Most likely not real hot to you guys, but it puts down the miles and I like it. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y46...i/DSCN0855.jpg |

Hot. It will be even hotter when you put 1000 more miles on it and replace the tires with solid black ones.
|
^ I like it.

1200g isn't, that's a 50cm. http://www.fetishcycles.com/road/penna/index2006.html Mine is a 2006, with the shaped aero tubing, versus the new , heavier ones with just butted round tubing.
