Very nicely done. Vote: HOT

Appreciate the feedback.

I actually had trouble finding a saddle bag to fit because the EPS battery took up some extra space. I bought the Arundel tubular bag and it was a perfect fit; enough to hold the CO2/pump.

That's funny coz the guys and I actually call it "Pepto", "The Italian" for the De Rosa.

The Arundel tubi bag is one of the smallest saddle bags I've seen; enough room for a pump and (2) 16g refills. I needed a saddle bag where the mounting straps were located more towards the front of the bag since I couldn't install a Lezyne small bag I had.

The Ridley is great but I just think the hot pink is too much for me. I mean I'd have to go out and buy a pink jersey and shorts just to ride the thing :)

I don't care what any of you say. Frame is art. Bike is hot.

Happy to see someone embracing it.

I like that pink Ridley a lot. Gorgeous.

This is done right.

I find the Ridley to be ugly....i shouldn't say ugly. It's the fork, seatstay, and seat tube that just make the bike look too weird for me.

How are you going to build this beautiful machine with Campy, then hang a saddle bag off it? It would be "nuclear hot" but cannot be judged due to luggage.

How does it compare to the BMC?

Stem is kinda high and the saddle bag is ugly, but it's still super hot. The color is fantastic.

RB1-luvr 05-05-14 12:36 PM

overall the bike is very nice. It's light, 18 lbs with pedals and tool bag (a necessary evil for riding, but understood it's no bueno for a photo). Wheels are prone to redirection from cross winds. That single bottle cage is borrowed from the shop because they did not have a new pair to sell me. Waiting for them to come in. Stem may go down one spacer, but I'm going to ride it as is for a while to be sure. I'm 50, so the days of the slammed look are in the past. This is my first bike with Campy. I am growing to like it.

really no comparison to BMC, it was a lower end model, aluminum frame with cf fork.
