This is how she'll be until Xmas or I crash racing....
http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=385916 Wheel decals removed, new bottle cages, staging with some actual sunlight. |
I liked the old cages, but I love it with the new ones. All that remains is to crop the steerer.

Leaving up to 10mm of spacers above the stem would not look too bad and would give you some room for adjustments. For really long rides you can always flip the stem up. It's up to you, of course, but I think having that much steerer tube sticking above the stem not only looks bad, but is not too safe either.

Just finished installing new gruppo (full 6700), only thing missing from this photo is the 3T Dorico Team seatpost (currently on the way)
For comparison, what it looked like before: http://i.imgur.com/PkNBbbN.jpg http://i.imgur.com/v9if8fH.jpg |

I prefer it with the under-saddle noodle bowl from the linked 'before' picture.

Do we get to complain about the use of "gruppo" when referring to a non-Italian groupset or is that the other thread?
Hot, though. |
