I know. I get that a lot.

Actually, the only important implied rule here is to not get all defensive. That ruins the fun for everyone.

Neat bike, but you literally just broke every rule for this thread:

1. Non drive side
2. In the granny ring
3. Seat bag
4. Bottle
5. Tube stems not aligned
6. Pedals not aligned
7. No white garage door
8. Slam not stemmed

I could go on...

The rules don't apply to that bike; it's grandfathered.

Sidney Porter 04-20-16 05:10 AM

The Colnago is in the "granny" ring? I always thought the "granny" ring was the small ring on a triple. The small ring on the Colnago might be a 42

Wrong thread. It's the New and Improved one that has all the rules.

I'll give it a hot, but needs more drillium.

What a saddle looks like in a photo is meaningless(as long as it works well), but that looks odd.

When i first saw the power saddle, I thought it was tiny also. I have the Sworks version and have converted all of my riding buddies as well. It is about as close to a "Saddle that works for everyone" that I have seen. It is simply amazing. Now that I'm used to seeing it, it looks normal size.

Vintage-ish representation.

I'll throw it up here, despite being aware the chain's in the wrong ring (ooops), and I could cut my steerer tube (but I won't)..

Classy

I wouldn't cut that steerer tube either.

Pretty. On the plus side, the bar tape selection is a particularly nice touch. On the minus - as much as I'm a Campy fan, I can't stand those wheels with the parallel spokes.

Gus90 04-23-16 06:46 AM

Love the Colnagos and the Merlin, both hot

Gus90 04-23-16 06:47 AM

Come on, Prince died. Isn't someone going to post a purple bike?

The spokes look better when moving. :)

Hot bike. But too much bokeh. Can't even see the bar tape.

Matt2.8NJ 04-23-16 07:19 AM

What kind of bar tape is that?

Bokeh is a quality, not a quantity. In this case due to the amount light I had to work with handholding camera.

Matt, mentioned further up.. it is Serfas Stitched.

Why are spacers upside down?

So I can read them when I'm riding? .. just kidding.. the LBS put them in this way on original build, and I just never thought to change them. Doesn't bother me I guess. Perhaps it turns the logos on the spacers more into a pattern than more obtrusive readable copy? FWIW the FIZIK logo on the NDS side of the stem is also upside down, so from that side of the bike it kinda goes together...
