Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I like it! It's edgy and bold. Something I would ride as it shows confidence on the rider.

'Confidence' is putting it mildly: more like daring and immodesty. Might as well say I like it because it's not boring

dont like color chain, because its just silly,
if you are going to match a shade it has to be spot on the same shade other wise it looks like you just bought stuff trying to match the color pink but did not succeed, it looks great at first glance but then you really start to notice the bars are not matching the seat or the ped caps or the chain.. or the hubs.. so its a nice bike,, hot? hmm.. not that hot.

It was originally supposed to have a gold chain, however, the inside of the fork, chain stays, and seat stays are all chrome. Gold next to chrome looks tacky in my opinion, so the only options were silver chain (boring) or black chain. The pink is subtle, it's not something you notice unless you're staring at the bike.

blah blah blah. I'll inform that Powertap that they need to change their color scheme to pink. I'll also inform Chris King that they need to do a better job anodizing their hubs to suit my needs.

Also, now that my bike has been roasted, I won't feel bad talking trash about the rest of the bikes posted on here.

Hey, all that matters is that you like it.

And anyone that gets butt hurt about criticism in this topic should of known not to post it here.

It's all good.

I also don't like the pink but the fact that it is gloss black and not flat black pleases me so much.

Just the standard cannondale one, inside of it is all chrome tho. Which I didn't realize until it was delivered.

Totally not butthurt but when someone says your bike is ugly because the anodized hubs are a slightly lighter shade of pink than your handlebar tape, it's a bit laughable.

The cannondale is hot. Having some pink on my bike as well, I understand how hard it is to match things up (or even fix paint chips).

I can appreciate the fun factor, and I'm sure all those quality components make it a great bike to ride, but...

I like those wheels. Those are lased in Utah. Hubs are Mercury and they are very smooth. The hoops are from Taiwan.
Those are mine - he borrowed on vacation. He has a set that is the same and I have 3 others built for the team - 2 alloy, one carbon. I've lately gone to latex tubes with 60mm valves - looks better and rides much better.

Here is his set, bike was posted before. I expect a reaction over the blue tires (that match his class colors).

Hey anytime someone that's been around here for 10 years with only 400 some odd posts comes out of hiding to say anything about my bike, I consider it a compliment.

But it's also my new bike, so I gotta defend it, haha.

It's just comical because everyone is ragging on this bike, but when I posted my bone stock Mr. Pink with some carbon wheels thrown on, everyone was like, great bike! Tough crowd!

Sometimes people like the way a bike looks, and cost doesn't make the bike sexy.

Oh, I know. Just find it funny.

Anyway, like I said, I've taken my lumps, so I feel like I can throw out a few in the future. I wasn't critiquing bikes as much because I hadn't posted one in awhile. Now it's fair game.

your bike looks good, but the eTap rear derailleur is an eyesore. I know it works, but it ain't pretty.

That bike with Chorus(Record, SR, or DA) would LOOK better to me. 130mm stems always look strange to me, but only because my short torso would never allow that on a modern stock frame.
