Great stuff david. I know that feeling. I just got my force group in the same way. All at once in one big box separated into even better boxes. It's a great joy opening that stuff. Better than christmas. The 2012 Rival groups Is definitely a setup up from my 2010 Rival! Very nice. Enjoy setting that up.
Thanks man!! Congrats on your Force purchase!! I'd love to see pics when you get it installed!!

Not enough vertical clearance. I originally went with TRP CX8.4 mini-v's, and there was only a couple of mm clearance between the cable and a 650x42B tire. Fenders, Hetres, or knobbies would have been completely out of the question. Any brake with longer arms would have been too much for the Campy levers (and I don't want to mess with Travel Agents).
Would you say that the vertical clearance issue is mostly due to a combination of perhaps the unusual wheel size (i would be using 700c x 25/28 - something much like a CX frame) or the Campy levers? (new-age shimano levers are better served by a 90mm v-brake arm than the 80 or 84 used with Campy/Sram)? I mean, if your frame's canti bosses were a few mm higher on the seatstays, it should be fine, right?

Picked up a new Campagnola Athena groupset for $600. (I couldn't pass on that price) Now I need to find a frame to put it on.

^^^ I like - is the stealth a new option for 2012? (I have the 3T Garmin blue stem/bars, can't for the life of me source a matching post.)

I think they've had them for a while since I saw them on cervelo r5's last year. For this year though they've released stealth team stem seatpost and pro bars I think.
Also just bought a Giro aeon

Old and New: Spot 10 differences

You are right: there is 10mm difference. The shorter and newer stem should help me with over reach. I am going to keep the old stem just in case if do not like the new one.
Grabbed my camera and took couple more pics:

I bought a trek fx 7.1 last year and put 2100 miles on it. This year I bought A trek 1.1(Paid for on friday), getting clipless pedals and getting fitted on Monday, can't wait to start putting miles on it. I haved a feeling I' am going to start saving for a Trek Madone for next summer

got a tacx trainer tire and I love it. No wear after 20 hours and the flashing in the center of the tire is still there. Smooth feel compared to gp 4000 I also cut off the nubs for .05 percent noise reduction.
won't be using these any time soon.

Just bought a new set of 2009 ksyrium elites from performance for $399 and spent almost $300 on a Fizike Kurve Snake saddle. The saddle is awsome but I have another week to wait delivery of the wheels.
