Chipotle Barbacoa burritos ftw or Blimpies subs ($5 footlongs too)
Blimpies uses higher quality meats so I stick with it.
El Pollo Loco has some good coupons too for cheap tastiness.

You've got it all wrong.
Footlong wheat chicken breast with provolone, lettuce, tomato, jalapenos, banana peppers, chipotle sauce, and oregano.

Dude - you need to learn to boil some rice & pasta. Not enough carbs even in a foot-long to sustain you if you're riding 2-4 hours per day. My grocery bill in peak training (14+ hrs per week) is still almost always <$30 / week for the foodstuffs, and I eat a LOT. I'd use the footlongs for a "treat", but for the bulk of your foods, go bulk carbs all the way. Cheaper AND healthier.

Dominic DeMarco is a friggin legend. He's getting older every day so his masterpieces will not be around forever. Plus, he does not use illegals to make his food; he is the only one who makes the pizzas. If he's tired that day, too bad, out of luck.
I've never been to New Haven so I can't make any conclusions. I will do this for you botto.
Personally I like L&B squares the best but they are not so photogenic. Here is their spumoni, which is probably a better pick-me-up than Subway:
