Moist and hot morning last week. Heading into the sunrise.

About a mile later came across a hot tub that was dumped in the middle of the road. I've seen boats and some other things, but that was unexpected. People suck.

Some empty roads from the Dolomites.
Not that easy to come by, it seems the area is bombarded by tourists, but on the other hand, some passes near the top are surprisingly empty.

I think it’s high tourist season up there right now. I once spent 2+ weeks cycling out a little village near Bassano del Grappa. We got near the Dolomites. It was pretty quiet, but that was in late May/early June. Weather can be unpredictable, There was still snow along to road to Monte Grappa.

Oh absolutely, but I also had to book now because I used it as a training camp for event in 3.5 weeks time and it fit in with work. I will definitely go back some time in May/June.

They even have different pricing or reservation requirements for July-September or something like that for some things. Will definitely go back in May/June, spontaneously if it fits with work and good weather forecast.
