I’m guessing there was a hospital at some point. Maybe a military one. I worked for a railroad. We had a track called the Reformatory Industrial Track. Old maps showed it used pass by an old prison.

I built the frame in 1976, at Colin Laing's shop in Tucson, Arizona, during my senior year in high school. I had my old Campy black pedals on it, until a puppy started eating my toe-straps. I have dual-pivot calipers now, and the triplizer. The fork is recent as well.

This one? Just some big leaf maple and dogwood trees. Maybe a couple of tree stumps from some pines that were cut down years ago.

More than usual rain recently has the hills turning green very early. Hopefully it will last till we get to the wet months.
